Unlike some bloggers who have interesting prizes to give away; I can offer nothing more than the simple satisfaction that comes from displaying one's intelligence.
I found this thing a few weeks ago. Since my blogging time has been filled with other endeavours lately, I did not get to post this before "Stanley's" untimely passing.
Oh, AA named him Stanley, and later changed it to "Spike" . Had he lived the creature probably would have been destined for a life of crime with all that instability in his past.
AA, who is pretty sure of everything, said that it was definitely a grub and a member of the snail or slug family.
The odd "t-shirt" troubles me - could be a gang sign.
I am especially troubled by the spiny projections.
Not to mention the yellow eyes it appears to have. Incidentally, after bringing Stanley/Spike into the house to show everyone, I soon discovered that those yellow "eyes" were not eyes at all. . . because apparently they were on the wrong end.
Either that or this fellow was chewing tobacco and decided to spit out his plug in the living room floor.
Maybe they're tail lights or I believe AA referred to them as afterburners.
AA quickly fashioned a new home for Stanley/Spike out of a used plastic water bottle.
Stanley/Spike was with us for about three weeks, and may have survived longer, had we not forgotten to stuff a few blades of grass in his/her bottle. It traveled to school one day, but I received no feedback as to what species this belonged.
Maybe you know?

I have no idea what that is, except it appears to be in the catepillar family. Looks like a cross between plankton\diatom and catepillar.
Well that's a nice try but it still doesn't explain the fancy Jumpsuit it's wearing
