Today I sat at lunch in our cafeteria with a bunch of women from my office.
When suddenly I realized they were talking about football players.
I heard Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith's names bandied about!!
WOW....
The next moment I thought I may be hearing stats for first down conversions or total yards rushing...
Then it hit me.
No, the Great Gulf had NOT been traversed.... the battle of the sexes had not at last succumbed to a cease fire.
....they were just talking about the "Dancing With the Stars" show.
...only in the 21st century...
...only in America.
